Our Amazing Store

Healthy Living Market and Cafe is Vermont’s largest and best independently owned natural foods market . We are famous for almost 30 years of memorable customer service and a complete selection of  local, natural and organic foods. We have had a strong commitment to our community, and involve ourselves in community outreach, local organic agriculture and providing jobs to over 150 local people. People tell us there’s a special feeling at Healthy Living. We agree. We know it’s about a tight group of people serving a great community.

Our History

We’ve been doing this for almost 30 years, but in the beginning it was all a mystery and unknown.  The little store was 1200 square feet and we had about 25 customers on a good day! After about seven years of learning how to actually run a business, we doubled our size. In 2007 we moved to our current location and have been happily playing store ever since. Healthy Living is owned and operated by Katy Lesser, her son Eli Lesser-Goldsmith and daughter Nina Lesser-Goldsmith.
