We’ve had our Lebanese mezze, now it’s time for the main course: meats off the grill! This is the perfect class to learn grilling basics with interesting recipes. We’ll learn the ins and outs of lamb kafta, which is ground spiced lamb, skewered and grilled. We’ll also whip up the perfect tahini — one of our favorite recipes! And what would a Lebanese feast be without the sweetness of baklava? Learn to make this exotic dessert from scratch. As any Lebanese would say of a good meal: Sahtein! — Here’s to enjoying healthy eating.
On the Menu:
Mixed Lebanese Grill // Lamb kafta, shish tawook (chicken kabob), lahem mishwi (marinated lamb and beef skewers)
Middle eastern dressing plate // tahini, toom (Lebanese garlic sauce)
Lebanese baklava // honey, pistachio, spices
