Making completely natural bread with sourdough may take some advance planning, but it does not have to be complicated. Come and explore the basics of artisan baking and enjoy a tasting from a selection of natural leavened Vermont-made breads to compare methods and flavor.

Heike Meyer is the owner of Brotbakery in Fairfax, a small artisan bakery specializing in whole grain naturally leavened breads and pastries. She also runs Brot Bakehouse School and Kitchen, a school for artisan baking and culinary arts.
