Growing up, Karen learned her love of baking from her mom, and the fun science behind cooking, from her dad, a food scientist. Her excitement for the movies, at home with family, or out at the theater, drove Karen to perfect her own popcorn recipes. Her flagship flavor, Herbaceous Blend was born! A delectable blend of herbs, spices, and sea salt, all topped onto organic popcorn, carefully kettle-cooked, “Karen-style”. Friends and family said, “You must sell this!” Karen had already found her passion for teaching young children, when she and her comedian and writer husband, Reg, found their true home in Vermont. Being inspired by the beauty in Vermont’s surroundings, the people, and the bounty from local farmers, Karen decided it was time to honor her other skills. It was time to share the joy, and amazing taste, of Vermont-grown and made, Karen’s Artisan Popcorn with the world!
