Thanksgiving is right around the corner!  Join us for a special Thanksgiving tasting featuring turkey from Misty Knoll, Koch’s, and Stonewood Farms.

Misty Knoll Farm

Misty Knoll Farm is a family-owned and operated farm in New Haven, Vermont. The birds (both chickens and turkeys) are raised with the most utmost care. They are fed wholesome grain that is free of antibiotics and animal by-products. Because of this, the turkeys raised on Misty Knoll Farm are healthy, nutritious and flavorful. The farm raises their turkeys in a large brooder house, sheltered from the elements, until they are capable of withstanding Vermont’s cold nights. Once that occurs, the flocks are moved to open barns with free access to lush pasture, sunlight, wholesome feed and fresh water. Because the turkeys grow naturally to size, they are robust and meatier. The birds are then processed on-site in the farm’s own USDA-inspected facility, sustaining much less stress then if they were transported elsewhere.

Koch’s Farm (NEW!)

Koch’s Farm is family-owned and has been raising turkeys in Pennsylvania for three generations. Organic, antibiotic-free and Certified Humane, their turkeys are fed a vegetarian Non-GMO feed.

Stonewood Farm

Stonewood Farm has been raising quality Vermont turkeys for 25+ years in Orwell, VT. The farm has always been family owned and operated and is currently run by Peter Stone and Siegrid Mertens. When Stonewood decided to move their focus from a cattle farm to a turkey farm, they started with just 300 birds. They now raise almost 30,000! Stonewood’s turkeys and turkey products are all natural –this means that their animals eat a completely vegetarian diet, made of soybeans and corn, with absolutely no animal fat, antibiotics or growth hormones involved.
