New Products 6/18/2018 (Saratoga)

There is so much seasonal goodness happening at Healthy Living right now, where do we even start? How about with produce—some of our favorite and unusual stone fruits are in, along with all the greens (lettuce and kale and chard—oh my!), fresh herbs and sweet-as-can-be strawberries. Also, there are some exciting developments in our yogurt aisle with nutritious/delicious dairy alternatives. And pretty please, don’t forget to grab that mineral-based sunscreen because the days are heating up. Get in on all the summer goodies and be glad!

Produce

Stone Fruit – These delicious fruits have a large seed in the center—hence, “stone” fruit!—and includes cherries, apricots, nectarines, peaches, plums, pluots, and apriums. We are constantly getting fun varieties, like donut peaches and dapple pluots, white and yellow peaches, and nectarines. We have a wide variety of both organic and conventional options.

Our local organic herbs are back for the season! We work directly with farms to supply herbs to our guests from now until Christmas. They include rosemary, thyme, sage, parsley, tarragon, oregano, cilantro, chives, and more!

Go green! Early season kale is sweet, fresh new lettuces are oh-so tender, and chard just keeps getting more popular every year.
