Bodegas Breca Old Vine Garnacha – 94 Points!
Made from 100% Garnacha grapes, Bodegas Breca’s oldest estate vines were utilized for the 2010 vintage. The vines were planted between 1925 and 1945 in soils comprised of slate, gravel and red clay on terroir of steep hillsides and head-pruned vines in Calatayud, Spain.
Jorge Ordonez founded Bodegas Breca in 2005 and has been amazing the wine world with top tier quality wines for unbeatable, superior value. Grapes are carefully hand selected, choosing only mature clusters in perfect sanitary conditions, then hand sorted on a sorting table at the winery. Aged in old large French Oak barrels for 21 months, Breca boasts raspberry, truffle, kirsch (cherry) liqueur, lavender and stony characteristics.
This is an astounding wine for the value. Rightfully so, this wine has received a whopping 94 points from Wine Advocate’s Robert Parker, where he describes the wine as ‘astonishing’ and perhaps ‘the most amazing wine I have ever tasted at this price point in over three decades.’
Available at Healthy Living and Cafe’s Divine Wines at our Saratoga location for $15.99 for a limited time. This is a wine everyone should get a chance to enjoy before it’s gone!
