Herb and Garlic White Sauce
- 2 sticks butter
- 3 heads garlic; minced
- Zest of 2 lemons
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup parmesan
- Basil; minced
- Parsley; minced
- Thyme; picked
- Salt and fresh cracked pepper; as needed
In a large soup pot on medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and lemon zest and cook until fragrant. Add flour and toast until lightly browned and graham cracker smelling. Add milk and continue to stir until thick and bubbly. Add parmesan and fresh herbs. Turn off heat, salt and pepper to taste. Cool before putting onto pizza dough.
