Healthy Living Loves Local: Olde Saratoga Brewing Company

Well hello, Saratoga! Meet the crew from the Olde Saratoga Brewing Company; our second June feature in the Beer Department for the 2013 Healthy Living Loves Local campaign.

Founded in 1997, the Olde Saratoga Brewing Company is an owned subsidiary of the Mendocino Brewing Company in California that’s located in the heart of Saratoga Springs, NY. With a staff comprised of six full-time local brewers, Olde Saratoga brews their fresh and delicious Saratoga Lager and Saratoga IPA for the local community.

The Saratoga Lager is a German/Austrian style Marzenbier with a reddish, coppery color and full malt character. It is slightly sweet to the palate with a light hopped finish. The Saratoga India Pale Ale (IPA) boasts full citrus flavor with the use of both Cascade and Fuggles hops, along with a friendly amount of malt to balance the flavor. Both of these refreshing beers can be found in our craft-driven beer cooler at Healthy Living Saratoga. You will also see them at our Demo Center next month Thursday July 25th from 4PM-7PM pouring samples of both beers for you to sip and savor!
