Family Fun Friday’s at the Saratoga Race Course
Healthy Living is proud to be one of the sponsors of Family Fun Friday’s at the Saratoga Race Course for the 2013 season. We are under a giant tent near gate three of the track doing kids crafts, handing out free samples, and talking with locals and visitors about Health Living Market on Friday’s from 12pm-4pm. This year is a special one for the Saratoga meet, which runs from July 19th through September 3rd. It is the 150th anniversary of horse racing in the Spa City. There have been multiple celebratory events, many of which Healthy Living has been a part of.
Last week under the big tent we were doing popsicle stick art with the kiddos. These kids got real creative using sticks, glue, googely eyes, plastic gems, and felt pieces to create amazing art. Some kids made horses and others made wonderful creations inspired by their imaginations.
Healthy Living was super fortunate to be handing out potato chip samples from the awesome people at Deep River Snacks Their snacks are made from all natural ingredients and contain no dyes, no preservatives, and no trans-fat. Deep River Snacks are also “certified” gluten free. We can’t thank them enough for generously donating multiple cases of chips for our Family Fun Friday event.
Healthy Living market will be under the big tent again this Friday August 9th. Come on by and say hello, create some art, have a snack, and as the locals say, “don’t forget to bet the grey horse”.
