Green Beans with Almonds

  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed 
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil or butter 
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds 
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions: 

  1. Blanch green beans in salted boiling water for 3 minutes, then drain. 
  2. In a skillet, heat oil or butter. Add garlic and almonds; cook 2 minutes over medium to low heat. 
  3. Toss in green beans and sauté until crisp-tender.
