“Anyone can drink beer, but it takes intelligence to enjoy beer.”

-Stephen Beaumont

Did you know that the majority of Americans live within 10 miles of a craft brewer?

‘Craft Brewer’ is a term that was coined by the American Brewers Association to protect and promote small and independent American brewers, their craft brews and enthusiasts. It is an industry that is growing more and more each day as the public becomes more intoxicated (pun intended) with the idea of creating and experimenting with new techniques, styles, flavors and concepts.

To be considered a ‘craft brewery’ one must have…

1) An annual production of 6 million barrels of beer or less

2) At least 75% of the business owned or controlled by a craft brewer

3) At least 50% of its volume being all malt beer
