Announcing New Parental Leave Benefit and $13/hr Starting Wage

COMPANY NEWS: HEALTHY LIVING MARKET AND CAFÉ RAISES STARTING HOURLY WAGE TO $13/HOUR, ADDS NEW PARENTAL LEAVE BENEFIT

 

South Burlington, VT –  Healthy Living & Café today announced starting hourly wage is now $13 per hour for all new Staff. Additionally, HLM has rolled out a new Parental Leave Policy, giving new parents 8 weeks of paid time off. 

 

“We’re determined to improve the quality of life for all Healthy Living staff and reach our goal of raising wages to $15 per hour.” said Chelsea Piazza Willsey, Manager of Human Resources. “Because we strongly believe in work/life balance, our new paid parental leave benefit includes 8 weeks of paid time off for both maternity and paternity leave, so both parents can enjoy a healthy and restful start to their new baby’s life.”

This announcement comes after the recent news that Healthy Living will open two new locations in Vermont. The company currently has locations in South Burlington, Vermont and Saratoga Springs, New York.
