Cantina Kids Fun Run

We were proud to be a sponsor of the 7th annual Cantina Kids Fun Run on Sunday June 1st! This amazing race, held in Congress Park in Saratoga Springs, benefits the Pediatric Emergency Services at Saratoga Hospital.

It was a picture perfect day in Congress Park! There were Lots of smiling faces.

There were over 800 pre-registered racers this year in multiple age groups! The runners in this heat were eager to start! Founded in 2008 by Cantina owners Jeff and Heath Ames, the Cantina Kids Fun Run has raised over $170,000 for pediatric care at Saratoga Hospital’s Emergency Department. The Ames family has a very personal connection to the cause: their daughter was born was a rare and extremely hard to control form of epilepsy. Knowing that excellent pediatric emergency care is important to all parents, whether for a broken arm, stitches, or something more serious, Jeff and Heath created the event as a way to give back to the community.

Healthy Living and Cafe served delicious Cold Brew Iced Coffee to very grateful Mom’s and Dad’s!

This racer picked up one of our bpa free water bottles! We also provided some bananas, apples, and treats from our Demo Coordinator Christina Davis.

Every child that competed received a medal! The top three from each category won a trophy!
