The hot bar here at the healthy living cafe will allow you to assemble your own meal, and allow you to make it appropriate for any diet you happen to be on or off. We will always offer a lean meat option usually in the form of all natural chicken prepared several ways. We consistently have fresh vegetables of all varieties prepared very simply as to let the natural flavor shine. A vegan dish is always an option, including all necessary nutrients in the form of plant based foods, as well as various forms of roasted tofu glazed in a number of different marinades. Two forms of starch are located at the end of the bar, consisting of a grain pilaf ( high in fiber, and flavor) and a potato based dish. In addition to these wonders of food imagination, we also leave two spaces for our chefs to “play” with. This consists of a range of dishes from classic chicken parmesan (baked, not fried), vegetable risotto’s, different types of macaroni & cheese, broccoli casserole, and many other dishes that spring up based on the wonderful produce, meats, cheeses, and food items we get in to the store.

2. Variety – Eat a rainbow! different foods have different nutrients, all essential to a healthy life.

3. Moderation – Ice cream is okay, eating a whole gallon in one sitting is not.

Hopefully we at healthy living can assist you with your particular diets, or expand your food eating profile by offering you a large variety of foods.
