Cinco de Mayo

Mexican food is always a good idea, but on the fifth of May it’s a MUST. In this hands-on class, we’ll recreate some classic Cinco de Mayo dishes and brush up on our Mexican cuisine knowledge. We’ll discuss the different kinds of Mexican cheeses and how to cook with dried beans for that ultimate, authentic touch. You’ll also learn how to cook meat to proper doneness and make a mean mole sauce, from scratch. You’re guaranteed to take home some new and useful skills to make an amazing Mexican feast any day of the year.
On the Menu:
-Cotija salad // cotija cheese
-Mole poblano // fresh peppers, organic chicken, cacao
-Corn Chalupas // VT Tortilla Co. masa, butter, cheese, beans
