Front End Fundraiser: Franklin Community Center

We are proud to be supporting the Franklin Community Center this month as our Front End Fundraiser! This amazing  non-profit human service agency, located at 10 Franklin Street in Saratoga Springs, New York,  has been providing basic necessities and services to less fortunate individuals and families in our area for 30 years.  Serving more than 6,000 people annually, they provide efficient and effective services to promote healthy lifestyles and positive changes.

The FCC has many amazing programs including Project Lift, an after school prevention program that has been operating in the Saratoga Springs School District for over 30 years. Children and their families have access to information and mentors to assist in youth development while offering tools to help each child succeed and make healthy decisions. This Fall Project Lift will be offering services in two more Saratoga elementary schools. Congratulations to them on the growth of the program! We will be hosting a fundraiser in July to help Project Lift, stay tuned for details.

FCC will also be tabling in our atrium on June 15th where we’ll be hosting a food drive to benefit there programs. You can donate a non-perishable food item or a new, unused school supply at Healthy Living between 11am and 1pm, and you’ll receive a free reusable shopping bag. Healthy Living will also be discontinuing our plastic grocery bags on this day.

The FCC just completed a renovation of their food pantry. Their food pantry is open year-round, Monday-Wednesday 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Thursday 2 p.m. – 7 p.m., except on holidays. With the help of donations from generous community members, they are able to continue this beneficial service to less fortunate residents in and around the city of Saratoga. For more information or to see how you can help contact Julie at 587-9826 or by email,

Ask your friendly cashier to donate to FCC when you check out and you can choose whatever amount you wish or are able to give. Each donation gets a paper FCC house posted up in the Front End of the store. As always, 100% of the proceeds raised go to the Franklin Community Center.

Thank you for your support, and thanks to the FCC for doing amazing work in the community.

Please donate what you can at our registers today! Every little bit helps!
