Great Italian wine for under $20!
This is an old favorite, that vintage after vintage always shines in my book. The 2010 Allegrini Palazzo Delle Torre was rated 90 points by Robert Parker, and it certainly earned those points! This is a blend of local varietals Corvina and Rondinella. At harvest time the majority of the grapes are pressed into the fresh wine, while a small percentage are dried for a few months becoming “raisined.” Then the raisined grapes are pressed and blended with the fresh wine. This creates a concentrated, rich character wine that does not disappoint for flavor. Come on in and grab a bottle for $18.99! On sale all month!
