Health and Wellness Week: Acupuncture with High Peak Acupuncture

Now that 2015 has arrived, many people are thinking about making changes in their lives. These personal goals often include health and wellness. The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce has launched the first-ever Health and Wellness Week, running from Monday, January 5th to Sunday, January 11th. During this week, businesses and organizations are offering a wide range of more than 40 workshops, classes, discounts and seminars, designed to help community members see what options might best help them to live healthier. We have partnered with three local health and wellness practitioners to offer free seminar style classes to our Guests.

Last night we hosted our first event in the Learning Center with Sam Lee of High Peak Acupuncture. Sam gave an overview of acupuncture and talked about the benefits of treatment. Each Guest received an informational packet about acupuncture and Sam talked with each Guest individually to see how acupuncture might help improve their lives. Sam also did some basic acupuncture treatments to help each person understand and actually feel what acupuncture is like. Our Guests left with lots of information and many of them experienced some immediate relief and relaxation. Thank you Sam for enlightening us!SamLee2015
