Healthy Living Conducting Ongoing Investigation into Potential Security Breach
Dear Healthy Living Customer,
We recently learned that certain customers of Healthy Living experienced unauthorized charges to their credit cards in November and December of 2014. We were notified of this potential security breach on March 25, 2015 and immediately started an investigation into it.
We are taking this potential security breach very seriously and are working closely with federal law enforcement. We have engaged third-party data security experts to help us establish the facts. Our investigation is ongoing and at this point, we do not believe that our IT systems were the source of a data security breach. We believe that any breach of our data security would have been limited to the unauthorized access of customer names and credit card numbers.
Because we have not yet been able to confirm that there was a data security breach, we have not yet determined what remedial steps will need to be taken, if any, to prevent future breaches. Nonetheless, we felt that it was important to notify you as soon as possible.
We care very deeply about your protection and cannot express how sorry we are for any inconvenience or concern this may cause you. We recommend that you closely monitor your account statements for unauthorized charges. If your credit card was affected, you should immediately contact your financial institution and to assist us in our investigation, we ask that you contact us as well. You may also want to review your credit report for any suspicious activity. By law, you may obtain one free credit report annually from each of the three major credit reporting bureaus. To order your free credit report, visit www.annualcreditreport.com or call 1-877-322-8228.
We will provide updates on our website (www.hlivingstaging.wpengine.com) as our investigation continues. In the meantime, please contact me at 802-863-2569 x229 with any questions or concerns you may have.
Sincerely,
Eli Lesser-Goldsmith
