Healthy Living Loves Local: Blake Hill Preserves
In picturesque Grafton Village, Vicky Allard and Joe Hanglin have owned and operated Blake Hill Family Farm since 2004. We here at Healthy Living and Cafe are proud to offer the ‘fruits of their labor’ in our Grocery Department every day!
Blake Hill Preserves have been selling their family recipe jams and preserves since 2009 using their own farms’ berries and fruits, supplemented whenever necessary with local and organic fruits from neighboring farms. In 2012, the two constructed and began operation of their own small batch production kitchen, The Kitchen at Blake Hill Farm.
Together they grow their own wild blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, gooseberries and rhubarb that are exclusively used in their jams, marmalades and chutneys. With exciting flavors such as grapefruit lemon thyme marmalade, rhubarb apple ginger chutney and raspberry hibiscus flower jam – these are so much more than just something you spread on toast! Blake Hill even has a ‘Top Shelf’ line which features infusions of spirits with fruit for amazing combinations such as orange zest and 10 year single malt whisky marmalade!
You can find these amazing offerings from Blake Hill Preserves every day here at Healthy Living in our Jams and Jellies aisle.
