Healthy Living Loves Local: Sheffield Seitan
One of the oldest Seitan producers in the country, Sheffield Seitan has been producing high-quality wheat gluten meat subsititutes since 1979. Over the years, they have prefected their recipe to make some of the best seitan out there. Starting with organic whole grain flour, they mix it with water from their own well, then rinse out the starch to create a seitan high in fiber and other nutreints; seasoned with soy sauce, garlic and cayenne, its high in flavor too! We exclusively use Sheffield for all of our dishes that call for seitan, as well as our signature sandwich The “Next-Level” Seitan!
