Sweet Crunch Bakeshop was started in 2001 in the home garage of Debbie Burritt. Debbie is a culinary trained chef that has a love for baking. Her home business was so successful that in 2009 she decided to expand and set up a café at a retail location in Hyde Park.
Sweet Crunch Bakeshop prides itself in making quality products and by using quality ingredients. Everything is made 100% from scratch. No preservatives are used. They bake fresh daily, never freezing any of their baked goods. At Sweet Crunch Bakeshop they stand by their belief that taste comes first. They recognize that sourcing ingredients as close to home as much as possible is very important. This helps with freshness and great taste. The success of Sweet Crunch Bakeshop is tied to the support of the community and giving back to their neighbors.
Their Vermont Maple Cookies have been the most successful product of the Sweet Crunch line. The maple cookie was featured on the Rachael Ray TV Show and has been widely popular since that appearance.
