Katy Visits Pete’s Greens

Recently Katy Lesser, the owner of Healthy Living, and her son, Eli Lesser-Goldsmith – Healthy Living’s General Manager recently made a farm visit to Pete’s Greens at Craftsbury Village Farm. Groups of our staff will visit the farm later this summer as well.

You’ve probably seen Pete’s Greens throughout our produce section: they supply us with baby greens, tomatoes and a variety of root vegetables.

Visiting the farms that supply Healthy living with our fruit, vegetables, meats, dairy products and more is extremely important to us. These farmers go beyond simply being suppliers; they teach classes in the Learning Center, come in for “Meet the Farmer” sessions, and even sell at our summer farmers’ market. They’re truly part of the extended Healthy Living family!
