Keep Food Fresh Naturally (and help support a local business)!

I do not need more plastic in my life—who really does? Which is why I was delighted (yes, delighted) to find this amazing alternative to plastic cling wrap…BEE’S WRAP (and get this—it’s reusable!). Use it just as you would any plastic wrap to wrap up a sandwich or half of a lemon or to cover a bowl or wrap up a leftover loaf of bread or a piece of cheese (although who really has leftover cheese to wrap up…not this girl!) My point is that you can use it on almost anything and everything as it comes in a variety of sizes from small to large, starting at just $5.99.

Bee’s Wrap is made with organic cotton muslin, beeswax, jojoba oil, and tree resin. And get this, the antibacterial properties of the beeswax and jojoba oil help to keep food fresh which allow you to use the Bee’s Wrap again and again. With the warmth of your hands mold the Bee’s Wrap to create a seal around your food or container–the coating makes the fabric airtight, waterproof, flexible, and just sticky enough to behave like plastic wrap. Try out our sample in the baking aisle for a fun, firsthand experience!

It’s super simple to clean—just hand wash in cold water with dish soap (hot water is not recommended for washing so the only thing I wouldn’t use this for is meat).

But really, my favorite thing about Bee’s Wrap is that it is made right here in VERMONT by Sarah Kaeck, a stay at home mom of three who grows and produces much of what her family eats on their Vermont farm. Go local!
