This month’s recipient is The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of New York. We helped this amazing organization last year and we are happy to be involved with them again. Our Sister store in VT is also raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society this month too. The donations that we raise will stay in New York to help families in New York State.

The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS is the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services. Our Key Priorities will ensure that: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society helps blood cancer patients live better, longer lives.

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society also has an annual event called the Light the Night Walk! This year the walk is on Saturday October 11th at 5pm at Siena College in Loudonville, NY.
