More Vermont Beer!

As you may have noticed, our beer department is dynamic. Seasonal releases, new beers, new breweries; what beers are on the shelves is constantly changing. With that in mind, we wanted to give everyone a heads up on some new Vermont beers that are on our shelves now, or set to arrive in the near future.

In two short years founders and brewmasters Allen Van Anda and James Griffith have made Lost Nation Brewing part of the fabric of the Vermont beer scene. We have proudly been carrying their beers since they first began bottling and distributing several months ago, and now we are extremely excited to be carrying their flagship Gose in 4 pack 16oz cans for only $9.99.  Their delicious interpretation of this classic, but almost forgotten, German wheat beer is light, tart, slightly salty, and perfect for summer. Beginning in 2010, Von Trapp has been producing some of the finest American versions of Austrian style lagers. We are already carrying 6 packs of their Helles and Vienna lager, and are eagerly awaiting their other varieties.

Keep your eyes peeled for cans from Zero Gravity Brewery, Burlington Beer Company, and Hermit Thrush Brewery. It is so exciting to see Vermont becoming as well known for our beers as we are for our maple syrup and cheeses. Stop by and support the local economy and the local beer scene by picking up any of the delicious Vermont beers we carry. Cheers!
