New! Jacks Abby Kiwi Rising

Jacks Abby, a brewery out of Framingham, Massachusetts, was founded in 2011 by three brothers, Jack, Eric, and Sam. They have become a mainstay of craft brewing scene in the Northeast, and since opening in 2011 their brewery has tripled in size! Jacks Abby specializes in only lagers, creating a more complex smoother style lager. Redefining what anyone thinks about a lager and creating a more craft focused scene for this style.

Kiwi Rising- a Double India Pale Lager, coming in at 8.5% ABV and a whopping 105 IBUs (international bitterness units), this is released each year around November or December. An intensely hoppy lager, this brew gets its name from the New Zealand hops (Kiwi hops) they use in the making process (there is NO kiwi in this beer). On the nose you will find this beer extremely aromatic with citrus and floral notes, following with a medium-bodied and light sweetness to balance the hop character. Kiwi Rising is currently the highest rated Double IPL in the country, and we got in a fresh batch of this last week!
