New Products: 6/19/2017 (VT)

There’s a theme for the new products we are featuring this week: FRESH FRESH FRESH. Local produce is pouring into the store with June’s finest: ruby red strawberries and gorgeous greens. Babies are enjoying our new line of baby food that uses high-pressure processing as opposed to high-heat pasteurization, keeping all the good nutrients in tact and we’re offering a line of almond milk that tastes homemade. Come on in to try the next FRESH thing!

Local Organic Strawberries!
June is strawberry season here in Vermont and we are so lucky to have some amazing local berry farmers who grow these gems with the utmost care. Adam’s Berry Farm dropped off the first batch of beauties on Monday, to be followed very soon by Riverberry Farm, Last Resort Farm, and Darby Farm. The sweetness and flavor of these ruby red local strawberries are truly a taste to behold. Get some!

​Local Organic Lettuces
All ready, with the cooler spring temperatures and plenty of rain, it’s been an amazing season for leafy greens. We are stocked up with an assorted variety of lettuces, such as Green, Red, Speckled, Romaine, and Red Oak from Jericho Settlers Farm, Riverberry Farm, Pitchfork Farm. Enrich any meal with crunchy, satisfying and fresh local lettuces!

Local Organic Riverberry Farm Kale
You can’t get kale any fresher than this. It’s picked in the morning and delivered in the afternoon by the wonderful farmers of Riverberry Farm, an organic vegetable farm located in the Lamoille River Valley.
