Unity Farm: Organic Salad Mix
Our friend Cathy Wells at Unity Farm is kicking off the salad season with her gorgeous organic salad mix, grown just down the road from us in Charlotte, VT.
This salad mix is grown a bit longer to be bigger than baby lettuce, giving it some great flavor and texture. The containers are eco-friendly and compostable. The focus at Unity Farm is to waste as little produce and few resources as possible by growing in hoop houses with a no-till system. Truly impressive!

Red Wagon Plant Starts :
We’re starting up our 21st year with Red Wagon this week, and we’re sooo ready for Spring! Julie and her team will be setting up with pansies and some other cold hardy plants, before the temps get up to “tolerable” for more tender summer herbs, veggies, and flowers.

Organic Vidalia Sweet Onions: New Crop! Delicious and so very sweet, skewer up some organic Vidalia and get an early start on grilling season.

Organic Rhubarb: Just in time! Delicious rhubarb must be cooked, and is a delightfully tangy, ruby colored companion to strawberries. They’re quite the match.
