Produce Employee Spotlight: Eric Kauppila

Meet Eric Kauppila! Eric is one of our new wonderful staff members who works in our produce department. Eric provides our already locally minded workflow with an additional connection to the scene.. he is also employed at Last Resort Farm in Monkton, Vermont! Though our knowledgeable staff is already incredibly familiar with the famous produce that comes from Last Resort Eric helps us make the connection from farm to plate even closer. Eric has worked at Last Resort Farm for close to nine years now, doing everything from planting and harvesting to tractor work and maintenance. Eric loves working at Last Resort and insists that the continued drive and passion the farm puts into the work they do with the local community not only makes for an incredibly rewarding work experience but a fun one. Some of his favorite seasonal offerings from Last Resort are their garlic, asparagus, raspberries, blueberries, and potatoes.
