P/T Housewares Assistant

The Housewares department here at Healthy Living and Café is dedicated to providing our customers with a lively mix of functional cooking tools, unique housewares as well as exemplary customer service and we are looking to expand our team with a Housewares Assistant.

The Housewares Assistant will be responsible for receiving and checking in orders, stocking and merchandising product, maintaining a clean department and backstock area and of coarse helping customers and fellow staff members with questions about everything from candles, cookware, water bottles and pizza stones. This is a really fun department that offers flexibility and great opportunities to learn.

An ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, an energetic work ethic, a fondness for the wide array of products we carry and a love of food and cooking.

This position is part-time with 24-32 hours per week including one weekend day. The Housewares Assistant must be available to work the weeks up to Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Compensation: $9.50/hour
