Chocolate Pudding

  • 2 cups milk of your choice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup of milk of your choice
  • 3 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla extract

Heat milk in a saucepan with salt, cocoa powder and maple syrup. While those heat whisk together the cornstarch and other 1/2 cup of milk in a small bowl until dissolved. Once the milk is warm add the cornstarch mixture and bring to a boil. Once boiling, stir constantly for about two minutes. Lower heat and simmer for another minute. Turn off heat and whisk in vanilla. Transfer pudding to a container and chill for a few hours or overnight. The more it chills the thicker it will be.
