Fresh Strawberry Balsamic Salsa
- 1 pint strawberries, stemmed and sliced
- 4 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 TB full-bodied red wine
- 1 tsp sugar
- ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Serve with whipped cream or mascarpone or as a condiment with grilled or roast pork. Makes 2 cups
