Spanish Tasting Success

Thank you to everyone who showed up to our ‘A Taste of Spain’ Spanish wine tasting! It was a great success and we had many people stop by throughout the day to partake.

Kevin from Tempranillo Wines came by to pour 5 different Spanish wines from his fabulous Spanish wine portfolio! He poured selections of the Borsao Garnacha, Monte Oton, Breca Old Vine Garnacha, Tarima Monastrell and Vega Sindoa Merlot along with a fabulous array of Spanish cured meats from our Meat Department, delightful Spanish cheeses and fig/Marcona almond cake from our Cheese Department as well as a freshly baked local baguette from Rupert Rising Breads from our Bread Department!

Kevin spoke with eager wine lovers throughout the day about the differences between each featured Spanish wine, how the terroir of each region affects the wine, and what pairs well with each! We hope you enjoyed his knowledge, passion for wine, and charming personality as much as we did!
