Staff Spotlight: Jaclyn

We would like to welcome the newest addition to our Meat Department staff: Jaclyn! Jaclyn hails from north of Detroit. She attended school at Prescott College, Arizona, where she studied Sustainable Food Systems, assistant-managed the local farmers’ market, and interned as a kill-floor apprentice in a slaughterhouse. It was there that Jaclyn learned the sacredness of the transfer of energy from animals to humans. Post-graduation, Jaclyn found an internship in Vermont on raising Scottish Highland beef cattle. Jaclyn loves Vermont, loves what she does, and truly values being a part of the food community. Swing by our Meat Department and join us in welcoming Jaclyn to Healthy Living!
