The Perfect Bird

Last night I attended “The Perfect Bird” at the Learning Center where Chef Instructor, Nina and HL Butchers Dominic and Briton showed class participants the ins and outs of brining, prepping, roasting and carving a Thanksgiving turkey. As an added bonus we learned how to make cranberry chutney, pan gravy and two different types of stuffing, one with wild mushrooms and one with HL’s house made sausage.
