We sell the BUY LOCAL coupon book!

If you’ve visited the store lately, you might notice that we’re selling Local First Vermont’s BUY LOCAL coupon books at Customer Service.

This book was recently published by the Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility (VBSR) and offers approximately $2,300 in coupon savings, as well as business stories, Buy Local facts and a business directory of locally owned, independent businesses in the Chittenden, Addison and Washington counties area.

Local First Vermont is a group of business owners and citizens who believe in the importance of supporting locally owned independent businesses and has been a leading voice in Vermont’s “Buy Local” movement.  They joined forces with VBSR in 2009.

The book costs $10, and can be purchased at a variety of other stores in the three counties (apart from Healthy Living, of course!).  The coupons in this book are valid until September 2011.

And once you purchase a book, be sure to flip through it to find our own coupon in there for a free smoothie at the store!  That already covers a third of the cost of the book!
