Where’s all the Kombucha?

If you’re a Kombucha drinker, you may have noticed a change in our inventory over the last couple of weeks. This is due to a labeling and distribution issue. This has effected Kombucha made by Celestial Seasonings, GT‚s/Millennium, Katalyst, High Country, Honest Tea and Vibranz.

BUT, we will continue to keep a local company on the shelves – Aqua Vitea, a Vermont-brewed Kombucha.

If you’re not familiar with Kombucha, it’s a fermented beverage made from tea, sugar, water and a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast (scoby). During fermentation, the sugar and tea nutrients are converted into vitamins, enzymes, organic acids and probiotics, and the result is a health promoting energy drink that tastes similar to aromatic sparkling cider.
