Wine of the Week – 2007 Domaine Le Sang Des Cailloux Vacqueyras Cuvee Lopy

 

From one of the top estates of Vacqueyras comes a blend of 75% Grenache and 25% Syrah, inky purple, exceptionally  powerful and rich, with balance.

Robert Parker’s take on this release, “a cascade of black fruits and herbs rolls over the palate with a silkiness and profoudness that are almost unreal.”  He goes on to score it a 94!
