Wine of the Week – Maryhill Winery Winemaker’s Red

Maryhill Winery is a new producer to the state of Vermont, and they’re putting out some amazing wines. The first wine to become available is their Winemaker’s Red, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc from Washington State. I’ve had wines from this region that will set you back three times as much that aren’t nearly this good – it’s truly an unbelievable wine for the price!

A big, rich, full-bodied wine that coats the palate with black cherry, blueberry hints of coffee, chocolate and vanilla, and just the right amount of earthiness typical of most Washington State reds. It’s great with burgers, steak or for just sipping on its own. Pick up a bottle today and I think you’ll be as impressed as I am!
