Wine of the Week- Mas Carlot Rose 2010

Mas Carlot is known for making really fantastic wines at really affordable prices. This Rhone blend is made up of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah and is one of the best rosés we’ve tried this year. Notes of fresh raspberry, watermelon, and dried herbs are prominent on the nose. The palate is fresh, clean, and crazily refreshing. Notes of raspberry and strawberry give way to a satisfying, dry finish that has enough flavor to drink on a warm spring day, but dry enough to pair with a salad or some shellfish.
