In 2010, with milk from Babette, Babette’s daughters, and a small Jersey herd, my sister, Marta, and I started Gammelgarden, a farmstead creamery in Pownal, VT. In the fall of 2010, we began making Skyr, our signature product and bringing Skyr and other dairy products to local farmers markets. Today our products can be found in over 20 stores throughout the Northeast.
