Brisket Burger Big Macs
- 2 brisket burger beef patties
- 2 slices American cheese
- 2 seeded buns; you can throw out one top
- 3-4 pickles
- Handful shredded lettuce
- 2 Tbsp white onion; finely diced
- Mac Sauce *see below
To cook the burger:
- Burgers
- Vegetable oil; as needed
- Salt and fresh cracked pepper.
To make your mac sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp French dressing
- 1 tablespoon sweet relish
- 1 Tbsp finely minced onion
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt; as desired
Heat a straight sided pan to medium high heat. Add enough vegetable oil to lightly cover the base of the pan. Season both sides of burger with salt and pepper. Once oil begins to helicopter add burger to pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Flip and add cheese. Let cook for another 2-3 minutes and then remove from pan.
Whisk all ingredients together well. Let it marinate over night if you have time! It’ll taste better.
