New Chinon Rose
Rosé season is upon us! What better to celebrate this wonderful warm weather with, than a refreshing and crisp French rosé wine! There’s something to be said about opening up a bottle of rosé when it’s warm out, and if you are typically a red wine drinker and would like something a little lighter for Summer-time, rosés are certainly the answer!
Our newest addition to our Rosé collection is the 2013 Chais St Laurent Chinon Rose Vigne en Veron. This beautiful wine is composed of 100% Cabernet Franc grapes, hand-harvested from the Loire Valley in France, and fermented in stainless steel. The Loire Valley is known for specializing in a variety of grapes; Cabernet Franc being one of the more obscure red varietals.
Not only do we absolutely love the amazing structure of this wine, it is fruit-forward yet dry, with delightfully floral aromas. Mouth-wateringly, fresh on the palate with notes of juicy red berries and the elegant minerality you expect of a Loire wine. Enjoy this rosé on its own or with some of our favorites that you can find next door at Healthy Living: pan seared white fish with roasted vegetables, grilled salmon and Spring asparagus, or even some aged, imported cheeses from our fabulous Cheese Department.
At a great price of $11.99, there is not much else you need to complete your Summer nights now is there?
