Gluten-Free & Vegan Chocolate-Cherry Cupcakes


Full disclosure: I am neither gluten-free nor vegan.

Another fact: I eat a fair amount of cupcakes.

And since we’re being so up-front and honest, I just ate one of these cupcakes, and it was good. Like, stupid good.
Most of us who work in the natural foods industry have experienced some pretty mediocre GF/V baked goods. This creates a bit of a dilemma, since it is incredibly difficult to recommend a product that suits a guest’s dietary needs, yet has the flavor and texture of 150 year-old concrete.

Luckily, we’ve got Hilary Payne-Vinick in our corner. Hilary has spent years fine-tuning recipes for GF/V pastries, and these Chocolate-Cherry Cupcakes are the culmination of that effort. They’ll be made right here in our beautiful bakeshop, from scratch, all through the month of March.
