New Products 7/16/2019 (Vermont)

PRODUCE

Local Organic Raspberries! Blueberries, currants, and gooseberries to come! – Adam’s Berry Farm and Last Resort Farm are bringing us the raspberries now, while we hope to see some gooseberries and currants from Last Resort Farm in the next couple weeks (fingers crossed!). Blueberries are starting to make their way to the shelves (ohhh boy), and it’s a berry great time of year!

Organic Donut Peaches! – What happened to that peach? It’s not a GMO but it might be a UFO! Also called Saturn peaches these flat little gems are delicious and bred through natural cross pollination to be weird and wonderful. Like all stone fruit they need to be handled gently and eaten promptly, make sure to choose firm and fragrant fruit (we are always happy to help with that).
 

Organic Sugar Baby Watermelon – We know seedless melon is easy and good, but we still get requests for seeded melons because they are just worth it, flavor wise. Sugar Baby Watermelons are in the small to medium category, with dark green skin and deep red flesh, and are famous for their sweetness.

Vermont Herb Growers Collective Dried Herbs – This is a brand new local vendor for us. All herbs are grown and packaged in Vermont. Right now we have Basil, Thyme, Parsley, Oregano and Sage.

Oatly Full-Fat Oatmilk – The newest addition from Oatly is supremely creamy and downright delicious. Add it to your morning coffee, pour over your favorite cereal, or use in your favorite baking recipes. We’re hoping the other varieties will be available to us again soon!

Against The Grain Veggie Vegan Pizza – A product of Vermont. It’s a vegetable lovers pizza that just happens to be gluten free, grain free, and vegan. No vegetables are hidden in this pizza; the crust is their new and tasty vegan shell. It’s also topped with their new vegetable-based cheddar style sauce. It looks as good as it tastes.
