HL Café’s Sesame Broccoli
- 8 cups broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 1/2 tsp black sesame seeds
- 1 1/2 tsp white sesame seeds, toasted
Our café‘s sesame broccoli has the triple threat of sesame: sesame oil, black sesame seeds, and white sesame seeds. It’s a delicious and deeply savory way to eat your green veggies!
Whisk rice wine vinegar and sesame oil together in small bowl and set aside. Mix black and toasted white sesame seeds together in another small bowl and set aside. Bring a large pot of water to boil and blanch broccoli florets until vibrant green and tender, about 3 minutes. Put florets in ice bath to stop cooking and pat dry. Toss florets with vinegar & oil, then toss with sesame seeds, and serve.
