HL Roasted Seitan (for sandwiches)

8 oz package Seitan

¼ cup canola oil

1 Tbsp ground cumin

¼ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp crushed chili pepper

¼ tsp chili powder

2 Tbsp tamari

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F
  2. Slice seitan into ½ inch slices or cut into 2 oz pieces. 
  3. Combine oil, spices, tamari into a small bowl. Mix well. 
  4. Toss seitan in mixture and coat well.
  5. Place on a sheet pan and roast until just crispy, about 20-30 minutes.
