Rosemary Maple Spiced Almonds

  • 2 cups whole raw almonds
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2-1 tsp cayenne, or to taste
  • Sea salt, to taste

Preheat oven to 375°F.  Combine almonds, maple syrup, rosemary, cayenne, and sea salt in a bowl.  Toss to coat almonds well.  Spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer.  Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.  Check every few minutes and stir for even cooking and so not to over-cook.  Remove pan from oven and cool.  Break apart nuts and store in an airtight container for up to a week.
